2013 Summer Picnic &
Field Trips
Held at various locations:
Skokomish, WA
Wenatchee, WA
Whitefish, MT
and various other locations
TBA, summer 2013

Activities to include:

• Picnic lunch Saturday afternoon
• Ride and visit the historical train museums, exhibits and displays of passenger train history in central Washington State and in western Montana
• Field trips of historic electrified railroad routes of the Great Northern and Milwaukee Railroads with visits to the historic GN Rwy Cascade tunnel and snow sheds located in the Cascade mountains
• Railfan the present BNSF Railway via car pool on Saturday and or Sunday afternoons (activities depend on weather and participation)
• Historic discussions about trains and passenger cars including car and locomotive digital slide shows on Friday and Saturday evening at hotels
